Sofia Vergara Hilariously Practices Her English with Ellen DeGeneres, Talks Posing Nude at 45

Forget the interview — Tuesday'south episode of the Ellen DeGeneres Show with Sofia Vergara was all nearly the English lesson.
In a hilarious clip from the show, host Ellen DeGeneres decided to put the Modern Family actress' language skills to the examination.

"I take been trying to teach myself Castilian, so I've been doing a Castilian give-and-take of the day," said DeGeneres, 59. "And then I thought I would teach you an English word!"
"Okay," said Vergara, jokingly raising her eyebrows and pointing out, "I know English very well."
Offset up, DeGeneres had Vergara, 45, pronounce the word "flabbergasted" — and the Colombian actress pulled information technology off in the perfect American accent.
"I have said that word before," said Vergara proudly. "You see, my American English language?"
"What almost 'discombobulated'?" DeGeneres asked.
Vergara paused and asked the host to repeat the word before blurting out similar-sounding gibberish as the audience roared with laughter.
"It'due south because I'k nervous!" Vergara said. "That is not even a word. Y'all're just doing information technology to ruin my reputation."
Vergara too opened upwardly nearly posing nude for the cover of Women's Health this summer, admitting to DeGeneres that she was "kind of nervous" beforehand and asked the lensman to transport her inspiration for the shoot and so she could do posing.
"And so the mag sent these pictures of these beautiful, tiny, long models that covered their whole body with their arm," Vergara said.
"And I'm trying these poses, and kickoff of all, I do [this] and i [boob] is here, and the other i is here," she said. "Then at that place was no roofing anything with this stupid arm."

Eventually, Vergara realized that particular pose just wasn't going to work for her body.
"I was only trying to be artistic, I was trying to be practical and solve the trouble," she said. "But and then I said to them, 'It'due south impossible — we can't do that. Nosotros have to figure out a style [for me to] look decent, not pornographic.' "
The winning formula?
"It'due south an arm and a paw and a very weird angle," Vergara said. "Then y'all're shaking, but you take to grin and expect sexy. It takes a long time."
